It has actually been 16 days since my last weigh in. My weight has come down and I noticed some physical changes. Then, I realized it’s been forever since my last measurements!!! So I took them as soon as I realized I haven’t done it in awhile. Anyway, here they are:

No Weigh In This Week. I’m devastated.

I am not doing a weigh in this week because literally nothing has changed from last week. I think I have hit a plateau because I am not working out like I used to. I tried to get back into last week and thought I pulled something. I guess I have to start low and slow again. Tomorrow I will wake up, do my Paul Eugene work out, take my medications, and then drink my delicious coffee. Work first, reward second. 

I have to learn to be gentle with myself and accept that I am not always going to do everything perfectly. My doctor from my CC BMI team said that I am right on target and she ordered a bunch of blood work. Eight vials, eleven tests. But who’s counting? R.I.P. my arm (lol)

I have gotten most tests back and everything has improved — my sugars, my cholesterol/triglycerides (still bad, but better), and even my iron! I still have a couple bad spots, but, dude, everything is improving. One of my tests was borderline high so I’m really trying to work on drinking more fluids. 

Anyway, I’m doing better, but I’m still frustrated that I’m not losing more. Be gentle on yourself, Angelica. Be nice. Be kind.
